FSU football may not play the Florida Gators for the first time in many decades. Here are my top 3 teams to replace them on the 2020 schedule.

A report Thursday afternoon indicated the SEC Conference decided to play a 10-game conference-only schedule for the 2020 season.

This was one day after the ACC announced they would be playing a 10-game conference-only schedule with one additional out-of-conference game.

If things stand as they are right now, this will be the first year the Noles and Gators haven’t played one another since they first squared off in 1958.

Most people would chalk up the Florida game as a loss for the Noles in 2020. However, it’s one of the best rivalries in the history of college football.

The Gators have pasted the Noles the last two seasons, but there’s a new sheriff in town with Mike Norvell.

If the game were to take place, most think it would have taken place in the lost slot on the schedule in November as it always does.

I suppose the Noles could choose not to fill that slot, but if they decide to do so, I can think of three teams I’d like to see the Noles compete against.
