FSU football needs playmakers in Mike Norvell’s offense. Four-star 2021 WR Destyn Pazon is interested in the Noles.

FSU football needs playmakers in 2021 recruiting class to go along with QB commit Luke Altmyer.

The Noles added some nice playmakers in the 2020 cycle, but wide receiver is an area they’ll need to continue to stockpile talent.

The Noles don’t have any wide receivers committed for the 2021 class and will likely need to take 2-3 signees.

The good news is Mike Norvell and staff have done a good job of starting on 2021 recruiting as soon as they could considering they were working on a 2020 transition class.

Four-star wide receiver Destyn Pazon announced his top five schools Sunday evening, and the Noles were listed:

Pazon hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, and holds 21 offers from likes of FSU, LSU, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Purdue, Tennessee, and others.

He’s considered the No. 131 player nationally and No. 23 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 6 ranked player in Louisiana.

He’s 6’0″ 170 pounds with a number of big-time programs vying for his commitment. The good news is the primary recruiter for the Noles is running back coach David Johnson who has great ties in the state after being the head coach at two high schools there years back.

FSU football offered on January 6, 2020, and was the last school he visited before the coronvirus pandemic shut down visitations.

FSU currently leads the 247 crystal ball predictions with 67 percent (2 of 3) of the current votes. The FSU crystal balls came on Sunday after Pazon posted his top five.

Can the Noles get him back on campus? The only problem is we have no time frame of when the temporary dead period will be lifted due to issues related to COVID-19.
