No. 9 FSU basketball found a way to win on the road against their arch rival the Miami Hurricanes. Fans react to the overtime win.

FSU basketball (16-2, 6-1 ACC) seems to be playing with fire the last couple of games. They have not played that well defensively during these games.

FSU hasn’t played smart basketball and quite frankly they are lucky not to have lost the last two.

It’s almost like they are playing to the level of competition, and I say that because they played almost flawlessly in their game against Louisville.

Good teams find ways to win on the days they don’t have it and credit must be given to the Noles. Credit must be given to Leonard Hamilton for getting these players to play until the final buzzer sounds.

It’s a good day any time the Noles can get a win over Miami in any sport. Check the fan reaction.

I know should be happier than I am considering they actually won the game, but I can’t help but think of how much better they can actually play. Miami isn’t really a good team, and it was more of FSU allowing them to stay in the game and gain confidence than anything.

Miami did hit some nice shots in overtime to keep it close so I have to give credit there, but ultimately it was FSU beating itself that almost cost them a win against  rival.

The Notre Dame game is one they will be favored to win before having to travel to play that ugly snail’s pace Virginia likes to play.

Next. Noles overcome deficit and bury the Canes in overtime. dark

The ACC is a tough league even when it’s a down year for the conference. Just look at Clemson beating Duke earlier this week. The best thing to do is to continue taking it one game at a time and knocking down each opponent as they come and the rest will take care of itself.
