FSU football know that two of its first three games in the 2019 season will be a part of the new cable network as part of a deal with ESPN.

One of the things to pass the time during a football offseason is waiting for little moments to pass indicating the upcoming season is near – in the case of FSU football, that means everything from the schedule being released to spring football to recruiting season to even things like the first game times being released.

Well, guess what? That last one is here! Okay, maybe we’re a little too excited about that one over here in Seminoles nation but after the first losing season in over four decades we’re a little on edge about things.

Nonetheless, the Noles found out on Wednesday when two of their first three games in the upcoming 2019 season will be played when the ACC Network – the new joint venture between the conference and ESPN – released their first three weeks of games for the upcoming season.

For the FSU football team, their home debut for the second season under head coach Willie Taggart will be on the newer network as well as the first conference game for the 2019 season.

"September 7th11 AM – Ohio at Pitt2 PM – USF at Georgia Tech5 PM – Louisiana Monroe at FLORIDA STATE8 PM – Miami at North CarolinaSeptember 14th12 PM – Furman at Virginia Tech4 PM – Bethune Cookman at Miami7:30 PM – FLORIDA STATE at Virginia"

The first game of the upcoming FSU football season, taking place on August 31st in Jacksonville when the Seminoles knock helmets with Boise State for the first time in program history, will be announced at a later date.

We are going to complete ignore the fact that someone at this new network thinks that each game during the week of September 7th will end in exactly three hours so that each game can start on time and point out that this shows that FSU football is still a big time show despite what took place last season on the field.

The ACC Network is going to be a big deal in the first year as the Seminoles are one of just a handful of conference teams to have multiple games in just the first quarter of the regular season – joining Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami and Boston College as teams to appear more than one time early on in the 2019 campaign.

Hopefully, both those games result in wins for the Seminoles to go along with defeating the Broncos to start things off.
