FSU is a team projected by many to make the College Football Playoff this year, but two bloggers seem to think it’s another Sunshine State team making it.

In Tallahassee, FSU football is getting ready for a 2017 season with plenty of high expectations as the Seminoles are projected to win the ACC and make the College Football Playoff by many. Along the way, some experts think the Noles will continue their winning streak over the rival Miami Hurricanes with a win in the regular season AND the conference title game.

At the same time, there are some people who think the Canes will end that losing streak – there are even some who think Miami can win the ACC this season for the first time since they joined the conference back in 2004. Even more, there are some who think the team with quarterback issues and one bowl win in the last 10 seasons can be in the final four.

Yes, as crazy as it may sound, people think Miami will make it over FSU football and into the College Football Playoff. Two of those people put it in writing as College Football News had various writers, bloggers and so called experts give their predictions for the four team field.

Two of the writers – one from Arkansas State and another from Georgia – are going all in on the Canes:

"@Jeremy Harper, SunBeltHeat: It’s always gonna be pretty much the same big brand guys, right? Plus one party crasher? I’ll go with Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State and … Miami! No Brad Kaaya? No problem.@Joe Vitale, UGAFootballLive: Alabama, Washington, Michigan and…..Miami. The U will take care of business in Year Two under former Georgia coach Mark Richt. With a not-that-bad schedule, if the Hurricanes can take out FSU in Tallahassee, then it’s sweet sailing the rest of the way for Richt and Co."

I’ll give Vitale some credit since he added the big IF to his prediction when it comes to the Hurricanes trying to get over the FSU football hump. But I don’t know what Harper is smoking to say that the ‘Canes will have ‘no problem’ without Kaaya under center this season.

Not all of the predictions were crazy, though, as five of the nine people surveyed predicted that the Seminoles would make it to the playoff four. Along with the two Miami picks, one writer thinks Clemson is heading back to defend its national title and another one had no love for the ACC at all and said the conference would be left out.
