FSU football signed a ton of great players earlier this week. Hear from four-star running back Zaquandre White who many don’t know much about.

FSU football signed arguably the greatest collection of running back talent ever in the 2017 recruiting class. Most fans know about five-star Cam Akers and five-star Khalan Laborn.

However, the player that completes the trio is four-star running back Zaquandre White from North Fort Myers, Florida.

He’s 6′ 210 pounds and rated as the No. 7 running back in the country and the No. 142 overall player in the 2017 class overall.

We ran across an interview he did earlier this week which will provide good insight into how he thinks as a player and as a person.

We posted this on Twitter last night, but felt it was only right to write this up to give FSU a glimpse of what they are getting with this kid. It was the first time I’ve really heard him talk for an extended period of time.

Of course I loved his highlight videos, but hearing him talk about his dreams and the passion that comes across was invigorating.

White talks about the recruiting process and how he had been committed to FSU football for so long. He said that loyalty was big for him, and it went both ways between he and FSU.

White also describes what FSU is getting in a player and the day he got his qualifying ACT score. Also, what he’s going to do to separate himself from others and the first game against Alabama.

Check it below (first two minutes):

White is a big physical running back that also has good hands to catch passes out of the backfield. He’s also big enough to lineup out wide the way FSU used Dalvin Cook a few times this past season.

It’ll be interesting to see how all three of these running backs are incorporated into the offense coupled with the other talented backs who’ve been in the program.
