FSU recruiting has been low-key since our last update in April. Are the ‘Noles in need of some recruiting momentum heading into the summer?

Things have been relatively quiet since four-star quarterback Bailey Hockman committed to the ‘Noles and four-star linebacker VanDarius Cowan flipped from FSU to Alabama last month.

FSU recruiting had moved up to No. 4 nationally with the addition of Hockman, but things have changed as other schools have added to their classes in the past month.

The ‘Noles were at No. 10 nationally and No. 4 in the ACC in our latest update, however, the ‘Noles have fallen to No. 13 nationally while still holding the No. 4 spot in the ACC according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

The FSU recruiting 2017 class still stands at seven commits, four defensive players and three offensive players. There are 5 four-star recruits and 2 three-star recruits.

FSU recruiting ace Tim Brewster has been on the trail as of late visiting a lot of top talent for 2016, and the ‘Noles are in the mix for a number of top players still. However, it seems as though FSU recruiting could use a shot in the arm at the moment.
