FSU Basketball adds a Commitment

The Florida State men’s basketball program received its fifth commitment of the 2014 class today, when Fayetteville, GA power forward Philip Cofer committed to the ‘Noles following a campus visit.

Previously a Tennessee commitment, Cofer is a three-star prospect, as are all the other players committed to FSU, which currently has the 12th best ACC class and the 63rd-ranked class nationally (per 247Sports). At 6′ 8″ and 205 lbs., Cofer claimed more than a dozen offers from schools including Georgia Tech, Kansas State, and Cincinnati. He is the newcomer most likely to replace the void left by departed senior Okaro White.
