The first two weekly baseball polls have been updated, and the Florida State Seminoles remain #1 in each. Following a 2-2 week and a road series win against a previously top-15 Clemson Tigers team, FSU remains the No. 1 team in the country, per today’s updated rankings from Baseball America, the USA Today Coaches Poll, and PerfectGame.org. The 19-4 ‘Noles are trailed by the South Carolina Gamecocks per Baseball America, and the Virginia Cavaliers in the latter two polls. Florida State slid from No. 2 to No. 3 in the Collegiate Baseball poll, which is topped by Louisiana-Lafeyette and South Carolina. FSU is down a spot to No. 2 in the NCBWA poll, behind UVA.

Next up for the Seminoles is a non-conference matchup with the rival Florida Gators on Tuesday in Jacksonville. They’ll then hit the road again, traveling to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for a weekend series against the Boston College Eagles.
