Florida State sophomore guard Aaron Thomas was named All-ACC Honorable Mention earlier today. The Cincinnati native led the Seminoles in scoring this season, averaging 14.1 points per game, and is less than a week removed from tying his career high in points, as he notched 26 against Boston College last Tuesday.
Thomas made tremendous strides for the ‘Noles this year, particularly from three-point range, where he improved from 22% as a freshman to 38% this season. He’ll certainly be one of the team leaders next season, as seniors like Okaro White and Ian Miller depart. Miller came in second to Virginia’s Justin Anderson for the Sixth Man of the Year award.
