Possible Seminole NFL Destinations

With the NFL Draft a little more than a month away, mock drafts are everywhere. But most only make picks for the first round– sometimes the second. Earlier today, however,’s Matt Miller published a complete mock draft, all the way through those less-publicized late-round selections on day three.

Miller has eight FSU players being picked. In order, they are:

Round 1

– Wide Receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Pittsburgh Steelers at pick #15

– Defensive Tackle Timmy Jernigan to the Denver Broncos at pick #31

Round 3

– Cornerback Lamarcus Joyner to the St. Louis Rams at pick #75

– Free Safety Terrence Brooks to the Detroit Lions at pick #76

Round 4

– Running Back Devonte Freeman to the New York Giants at pick #109

Round 5

– Linebacker Christian Jones to the Chicago Bears at pick #144

– Outside Linebacker Telvin Smith to the Cincinnati Bengals at pick #152

Round 6

– Center Bryan Stork to the Atlanta Falcons at pick #166

That’s eight of the nine Seminoles who attended the NFL Scouting Combine. James Wilder, Jr. will become an undrafted free agent, according to Miller’s projections.
