Florida State’s men’s basketball team notched a huge win Saturday night, hitting the road to defeat Wake Forest, 67-60. In an ugly contest marred by multiple turnovers, FSU overcame an early 16-point deficit to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive.
The ‘Noles once again got off to a slow start, not scoring in the game’s first five minutes. But they showed more life in the second half, paced by Ian Miller’s 25 points and Aaron Thomas’ exceptional 19-point, 14-rebound effort.
Next up for the Seminoles is an important Monday night contest against North Carolina in Tallahassee.
