The Florida State Seminoles absolutely lit the gym on fire on Sunday night inside the Tucker Center as they routed the Maryland Terrapins, 85-61.
Florida State rode the wave of tremendous three-point shooting in the first half en route to a commanding 42-22 halftime lead as they went into the locker room.
Ian Miller, who finished the night with 20 points off the bench, knocked down five of his six three-pointers in the first 20 minutes alone.
Devon Bookert knocked down three of his own and so did Aaron Thomas, Okaro White hit two, and Montay Brandon and Brandon Allen each added one of their own to give the Seminoles a jaw-dropping 16 three-pointers made on the evening on 66.7% shooting from beyond the arc combined.
The Seminoles controlled nearly every phase of the game is this one as they ran Maryland off the court from the opening tip right until the final buzzer.
With the win, the ‘Noles now move to 11-4 on the season and will take on the Miami Hurricanes on the road Wednesday night to try and get their third consecutive ACC win.
