One day after the Florida State Seminoles rocked the state of Florida by flipping the commitment of five-star running back Dalvin Cook from the Florida Gators to Tallahassee, Jimbo Fisher and the coaching staff started out 2014 with a bang by grabbing a commitment from four-star defensive Lorenzo Featherston, according to ESPN’s Recruiting Nation.
At 6-7 and 220-pounds, Featherston is yet another tremendous grab as Fisher and defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt continue to build one of the best defensive groups in the nation. With linebackers Kain Daub, Jacob Pugh and Delvin Purifoy already committed for 2014, the future for this athletic defense looks brighter and brighter going forward.
Originally, Featherston was considering the Florida Gators and Clemson Tigers in addition to the Seminoles, however you can add Featherston to the list of young high school athletes now that want to help keep building the dynasty in Tallahassee.
Featherston becomes the 28th commitment for the 2014 recruiting class for Florida State as National Signing Day rapidly approaches.
