Saturday afternoon, the Florida State Seminoles moved to 10-0 on the year after routing the Syracuse Orange at home, 59-3. It was the second consecutive victory by that exact score, following last week’s 59-3 drubbing of Wake Forest.

With the victory, the ‘Noles finished their ACC regular season schedule, with only Idaho and Florida left on the schedule for the remainder of the season before the Seminoles make the trip to Charlotte to defend their conference championship.

Monday, head coach Jimbo Fisher hit the podium once again to discuss the usual topics in front of the assembled media in person, and on the phone. As Florida State moves closer and closer to a potential national title game appearance in Pasadena, the words of the FSU head man become more and more prevalent.
