The Florida State Men’s Basketball team took to the court on Wednesday night in an exhibition match up against Southeastern. It was our first chance to get a look at the ‘Noles as the anticipation begins to mount for the opener on Nov. 8.

In this one, the Seminoles had a very good outing in what would end up being a 112-74 rout inside the Tucker Center. Senior leader Okaro White led the way for the ‘Noles with 23 points, four assists, eight rebounds and three blocks. Sophomore Montay Brandon also dropped in 23 for FSU on the night.

After the game, White seemed more than pleased with the effort from this squad on their first night out:

“I thought we looked really gold in the first half,” White said. “We didn’t play as well as we wanted to in the second half but we will work on that. I just thought for the first time out we did a good job and we know what we have to keep working on.”

Next, the Seminoles will host Flagler College on Monday night at the Tuck before they open the 2013-2014 season against Jacksonville.
