In just a few short moments, the Florida State Seminoles will take the field following that huge win last week in Death Valley against the N.C. State Wolfpack.
The Wolfpack come in to Doak Campbell at 3-3 on the season, and they’ll be returning Arkansas transfer Brandon Mitchell at QB.
However, we all know what this day is about in the end, and that’s the celebration of the man who made Florida State football what it is today, Bobby Bowden.
Coach Bowden returns to his old stomping grounds today for the first time since he left the program, and Coach Fisher took over. Last night, they held an even in his honor on campus, and today he’ll be planting the spear mid-field.
This will undoubtedly be one of the most emotional days in Florida State history.
But, there’s still a football game to be played and, as always, feel free to join in on the conversation below as the game is going on, and share some of your memories of Coach Bowden as the ‘Noles continue their march toward a national championship.
