Florida State Remains No. 8 in Latest Polls

We learned on Sunday that the Florida State Seminoles will head to Chestnut Hill, Mass. this upcoming weekend with a 3-0 record and their spot in the Top 10 in the latest rankings still intact.

As has been the case the last few weeks, the ‘Noles remained at number eight in the latest polls–AP and Coaches–released on Sunday. Following the blowout of FCS Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, coupled with the remaining teams in front of FSU getting their work done, this isn’t all that surprising.

This week though, a lot more emphasis will be put on Florida State and their performance than has been in recent weeks. After opening up with an ACC opponent in Pitt, it’s been two straight “cupcake” opponents in Nevada and B-CU, which really weren’t about to open up any voters’ eyes. But, with those out of the way now, it’s back to conference play with a date set for Saturday against the Boston College Eagles.
