After suffering a knee sprain in their win against UC-Davis last weekend, there’s been a lot of speculation as to whether or not Nevada’s all-everything, dual-threat QB Cody Fajardo would be in action on Saturday against Florida State.
Well, Fajardo may have given an indication as to what his status for later today actually is.
Just wanted to thank every1 for the prayers. Its going to be tough watching my brothers out there without me, but it is for the best #GoPack

From those words, it seems as if head coach Brian Polian has decided not to risk the long-term health of his leading man against a powerful FSU defense.
While it would have been nice to see how this revamped Florida State defense performed against a proven dual-threat like Fajardo, obviously his health is the primary concern.
All of our best to Fajardo in his recovery.
