There was a scary moment in Florida State’s blowout win over Pitt on Monday night. Actually, you can describe it as more of a heart-stopping moment for most Seminoles fans as it appeared stud running back James Wilder Jr. may have seriously injured his shoulder.

During today’s teleconference, head coach Jimbo Fisher finally gave an update as to the prognosis of his powerful junior running back.

This is certainly good news, as it seemed Monday night that there was a possibility it could be something more serious. Also, fans weren’t exactly happy with the timing of the event as it happened when the game was well out of reach for Pitt. Regardless though, it seems as if Wilder will be ready to go against Nevada next Saturday.

Wilder ran the ball 10 times for 58 yards against the Panthers.
