The Florida State Seminoles have just received some good news before the weekend starts. According to Natalie Pierre, 2014 running back prospect, Jonathan Vickers, has decided to commit to the program. Vickers is rated anywhere between the 20th to 30th best running back prospect in that class.
Here is Pierre’s tweet announcing the news:
North Florida Christian RB Jonathan Vickers has committed to FSU. He becomes the #Noles 19th commitment for 2014.

You know what, though? We are all friends here. How about we take a look at some beautiful footage of the future Nole?
Louisville was reportedly another school that was in the running in the Vickers’ sweepstakes. Considering they are going to be in the ACC shortly — and Charile Strong is, well, him — this can be used as perceived evidence that Florida State still has the goods on the recruiting trail.
This is already the 19th commit for the Noles for the 2014 class. While Jonathan Vickers might not be the ‘hugest’ get for the team as far as scouting website ratings goes, he is a good size running back heading into the realm of college athletics — standing 5’11” and weighing a reported 212 of the manliest pounds that have ever graced the planet.
Okay, I may have been exaggerating the fact that Vickers carriers around the most awesome weight in the history of the world, but that doesn’t stop Nole Nation from getting all hot and bothered on their insides about this landing.
With Vickers committing and the weekend just a few hours officially from being underway, I think it is pretty safe to say that it has been a solid start to Florida State fans’ Fridays.
