FSU Spring Practice: Day 1

I don’t know what else to say except that you can go ahead and get out the garnet and gold flavored Kool-Aid.  I’ve already drawn myself a bath of it.

The bottom line is that this team is ready to go.  The tempo is up.  The young guys are stepping up.  This isn’t a re-building spring, this is just settling some dust.  Jimbo basically says not much has changed, but the new coaches have offered new language and tweaks.  The good news is that everyone seems to be settling in–coaches and players alike.  Jimbo, however, downplayed the importance of the new coaches.  I find it hard to believe there isn’t much of a change between the old coaches and the new ones–in style and information taught.  The new coaches are, by far, more experienced than the last group.

See and hear for yourself.
